Annette Dean

Tasmanian Reserves Manager, Bush Heritage Australia

Annette Dean brings with her more than 25 years’ experience in the conservation sector, working for working for Parks and Wildlife in Tasmania and NSW as well as the NGO sector. Her experience includes major visitor management projects such as project management of a new visitor centre for Paroo-Darling National Park, planning and project management of major walking track projects across Tasmania, and project management and writing of on-site interpretation.  Further, Annette has delivered a range of conservation projects including restoration of logged areas in the TWWHA and of former pine plantations. Annette’s passion is effective environmental education through visitor engagement, and working collaboratively with communities and stakeholders.
